Description
Back in January a family friend told me to draw him something but I thought I’d go for my second relief this time. He had mentioned having a pic of a Snow Leopard, so I decided to try the one commonly found in Africa climbing up a tree.
The process was smooth for the most part, but then came the spots. These cats have hundreds of spots, which makes them a nightmare to paint because I’m still no Bob Ross when it comes down to using a brush. The tree trunk itself is 3 layers deep while the leopard alone is 5. Some perspective shots are below.
Black Foamcore board, 8 layers
Rubber Cement
Gesso
Acrylics
Watercolors
Gloss & Matte Varnish
7½in x 18in x 1¼in
Two Horizens - Maya Brennon
(Resources are my own)
